Masaru Sugai is a robotics researcher whose work centers on motion control, active vision, and the integration of perception with manipulation. His most cited paper, “A novel robot motion control based on the decentralized robust servomechanism for each joint” (2002, 15 citations), introduces a decentralized joint control method for multiaxis robot manipulators.
