Marco Paoloni is a leading figure in the development of wire-driven parallel robotic systems, with a particular focus on novel mechanical architectures for teleoperation and industrial automation. His foundational work on the WiRo-6.3—a six-degree-of-freedom parallel structure actuated by nine wires—introduced a groundbreaking methodology for determining the workspace of redundantly actuated cable-driven robots.
