Haoxiang Lang is a robotics researcher whose work spans visual servoing, autonomous navigation, robotic manipulation, and thermal management systems. He is perhaps best known for his pioneering contributions to vision-based control for mobile robots, most notably his 2009 paper on hybrid visual servo controllers for wheeled mobile robots, which has accumulated 143 citations and addressed the critical challenge of maintaining visual features within a camera's field of view during robotic grasping tasks.
