About
Dong Lei is a pioneering researcher in the field of soft robotics, with a focus on developing adaptive, reconfigurable, and multi-dimensional locomotion systems. Their major contributions include the invention of a new strategy for discretionarily reconfigurable actuators based on self-healing elastomers, enabling soft robots to change their actuation modes on demand—a critical step toward next-generation adaptive robotics.
