David W. Murray is a pioneering computer vision and robotics researcher whose work has fundamentally shaped how machines perceive and navigate their environments. Based at the University of Oxford, Murray has made landmark contributions to simultaneous localisation and mapping (SLAM), active vision, and augmented reality systems spanning more than three decades.
