Cameron N. Riviere is a pioneering biomedical engineer and roboticist whose research sits at the intersection of surgical robotics, tremor cancellation, and minimally invasive medical devices. Best known for his groundbreaking work on handheld surgical micromanipulators, Riviere has fundamentally advanced the field of microsurgery by developing intelligent instruments capable of actively canceling physiological hand tremor in real time — a novel departure from conventional robotic arm approaches.
