Amir Patel is a roboticist and biomechanics researcher whose work sits at the fascinating intersection of animal locomotion and autonomous robotic systems. He is best known for his pioneering investigations into cheetah-inspired robotics, particularly the role of the tail in enabling rapid maneuverability.
