Albert P. Pisano is a pioneering figure in microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) and microrobotics, with a career dedicated to shrinking the boundaries of what machines can do. His research spans MEMS design, microsensors, and power-efficient microactuators, but he is perhaps best known for advancing the integration of commercial electronics with novel microfabrication processes.
