A. Parkhomenko is a leading figure in the development and operation of the MASTER (Mobile Astronomical System of Telescope-Robots) global network of robotic optical telescopes. His primary research areas encompass time-domain astrophysics, including the prompt optical emission of gamma-ray bursts (GRBs), gravitational wave follow-up observations, and wide-field sky surveys.
