Zhao-Tie Liu is a leading figure in the field of stimuli-responsive polymeric materials, with a particular focus on developing advanced soft actuators and robots. His research centers on creating smart films and devices that can change shape in response to multiple environmental triggers, including moisture, near-infrared (NIR) light, and magnetic fields.
