About
Xueqi Fu is a pioneering roboticist whose work bridges the critical gap between infrastructure maintenance and autonomous systems. His primary research focuses on developing specialized climbing robots for bridge cable inspection and maintenance, as well as automated medical preparation systems. Fu’s most significant contributions lie in the CCRobot series, where he has progressively advanced cable-climbing technology. His CCRobot-IV (2021, 21 citations) introduced an obstacle-free, quad-ducted propeller-driven design capable of navigating helical ribs and small metal accessories on bridge cables.
