Diego Ribas Gomes is a leading innovator in smart polymeric materials, whose work bridges self-healing systems, shape-memory composites, and wearable sensor technologies. His research centers on engineering multifunctional polymers that respond dynamically to environmental stimuli—particularly through the integration of Diels–Alder chemistry for reversible covalent bonding.
