About
D. Raden Sanggar is a robotics researcher specializing in humanoid robot locomotion, balance control, and sensor integration. His work centers on enabling humanoid robots to perform dynamic, human-like behaviors—particularly push recovery and real-time interaction with moving objects. Sanggar’s most cited paper (2018, 10 citations) introduces a push recovery strategy using a Triple Linear Inverted Pendulum Model and a MIMO decoupled control system, allowing the “T-FLoW” humanoid robot to stabilize itself against external forces. He also designed a low-cost foot pressure sensor module using piezoelectric sensors (2019, 5 citations), enabling the robot to sense ground reaction forces and estimate the Zero Moment Point (ZMP) for improved balance. In another contribution (2017, 3 citations), Sanggar implemented a direct pass strategy for the T-FLoW robot during RoboCup technical challenges, enabling it to intercept and pass a moving ball. His research, conducted at the EEPIS Robotics Research Center (ER2C), bridges theoretical control systems and practical sensor design, advancing the robustness and affordability of humanoid robots for competition and real-world applications.
