A. Kuznetsov is a leading figure in time-domain astrophysics, specializing in the optical follow-up of gravitational-wave (GW) sources, high-energy neutrino progenitors, and rare explosive transients. As a key member of the MASTER Global Robotic Net, Kuznetsov has been instrumental in transforming multi-messenger astronomy. Their most impactful work includes the first optical detection of the GW170817 neutron star merger (227 citations), providing the earliest image of its host galaxy, NGC 4993.
