D. Vlasenko is a prominent observational astrophysicist whose research centers on time-domain astronomy, gravitational-wave follow-up observations, gamma-ray bursts (GRBs), and multi-messenger astrophysics. Working extensively within the MASTER Global Robotic Network — a distributed system of automated telescopes operated by Moscow State University — Vlasenko has contributed to some of the most historically significant astronomical events of the modern era.
