About

Yu-Che Tseng is a leading researcher at the intersection of indoor localization, pervasive computing, and human–machine interaction. His work is foundational to the next generation of smart environments, particularly in factory automation and elderly care. Tseng pioneered fingerprinting-based indoor localization, demonstrating how to automatically construct radio maps using iRobot and RFID technology—a breakthrough that bypasses the labor-intensive training phase of traditional systems.
