About
Tae-Eun Song is a materials scientist whose research centers on the development of advanced soft actuators and multifunctional materials, with a particular focus on metal–organic frameworks (MOFs). Her most significant contribution is the design and synthesis of a dual-responsive magnetoactive and electro-ionic soft actuator (MESA) derived from a nickel-based MOF, published in *Advanced Materials* in 2022.
