Riccardo Cassinis is a versatile researcher whose work spans autonomous mobile robotics, human-robot interaction, and surgical robotics. Based at the University of Brescia, Cassinis has made lasting contributions across several decades of robotics research, pioneering foundational work in behavioral model architectures for intelligent robots as far back as 1987 — long before the field reached mainstream prominence.
