Mehran Mojarrad is a pioneering researcher in the field of biomimetic robotics and smart materials, with a primary focus on developing artificial muscles for propulsion and actuation systems. His groundbreaking work centers on ion-exchange membrane-metal composites (IEMMCs) and polyelectrolyte materials, which function as both actuators and sensors.
