Matt S. Cavilla is a leading researcher at the intersection of surgical robotics and otology, whose work is redefining cochlear implant surgery. His primary research areas include magnetic steering, robotic-assisted insertion, and the biomechanics of cochlear-implant electrode arrays (EAs).
