Kenji Kimura’s research bridges two distinct yet impactful domains: socially assistive robotics for elderly care and the mathematical mechanics of spherical motion systems. In the former, he pioneered Robot-Assisted Activity (RAA) programs that integrate reading aloud and arithmetic exercises—structured interventions designed to stimulate cognitive engagement in health care facilities.
