Dr. Jun Natsuki is a versatile researcher whose work bridges biomedical diagnostics and advanced materials engineering. In the biomedical arena, Dr. Natsuki made a significant contribution to cancer diagnostics by improving the automation of the lectin-antibody enzyme immunoassay for the alphafetoprotein-L3 carbohydrate chain, a critical tumor marker for liver cancer.
