About

Dr. Jingjuan Lai is pioneering the next generation of intelligent, stimuli-responsive hydrogels for applications in wearable electronics, soft robotics, and adaptive tribology. Her research masterfully integrates nanocomposite design, supramolecular chemistry, and bioinspired principles to create materials that dynamically sense, actuate, and lubricate. A standout contribution is the development of a stretchable, thermally responsive nanocomposite hydrogel for dual strain and thermal sensing (26 citations), demonstrating a key platform for wearable health monitors.
