Jessie M. Creamean is a leading atmospheric scientist whose research centers on the complex interactions between aerosols, clouds, and climate, with a particular focus on the rapidly changing Arctic. Her major contributions lie in understanding how aerosols—tiny particles in the atmosphere—serve as ice-nucleating particles (INPs) that influence cloud formation and precipitation.
