Patric Seifert is an atmospheric scientist whose research focuses on the vertical distribution and characterization of aerosols using advanced lidar techniques. He has made major contributions to the remote sensing of volcanic ash, wildfire smoke, and Arctic aerosols, often combining lidar data with photometer and meteorological observations.
