About
Helin Wang is a rising leader in the development of next-generation energy storage systems, with a primary focus on rechargeable aqueous zinc batteries (RAZBs) and solid-state sodium metal batteries. Their research masterfully tackles the critical interfacial and structural challenges that hinder the practical deployment of these safer, high-energy alternatives. In a landmark 2024 study, Wang introduced a novel ultrathin molecular-engineered separator to address the "triple threat" of cathode degradation, zinc anode side reactions, and self-discharge in RAZBs—a work that has already garnered 44 citations for its comprehensive multiscale approach.
