About

Hao‐Bo Jiang is a leading researcher in the development of smart, responsive materials, with a primary focus on graphene-based soft actuators and biomimetic surfaces. His most impactful work centers on the innovative use of light and laser technologies to fabricate moisture-responsive graphene structures. Jiang’s seminal 2014 paper, with 244 citations, introduced a groundbreaking method for creating moisture-responsive graphene paper via controlled photoreduction, demonstrating how selective water adsorption enables controllable actuation. This work established a foundation for low-cost, high-performance actuators.
