Glen Spraggon is a structural biologist whose work bridges computational innovation and fundamental enzymology. He is best known for pioneering automated analysis of protein crystallization—a critical bottleneck in structural biology. His 2002 paper on the "Computational analysis of crystallization trials" (67 citations) introduced the Crystal Experiment Evaluation Program, a system that automatically categorizes results from robotic crystallization screens.
