Dahu Yao is a leading innovator in the field of flexible electronics and intelligent sensing, with a primary focus on developing advanced tactile sensors, triboelectric nanogenerators, and hydrogel-based multimodal systems. His major contributions include the creation of an ultrathin, superhydrophobic flexible tactile sensor that can discriminate between normal and shear forces—a critical advancement for dexterous robotic motion monitoring.
