About
Chi-Yu Lin is a pioneering researcher at the intersection of assistive robotics and immersive haptic interaction. His primary research areas include autonomous medical mobility systems, human-robot interaction, and encountered-type haptic feedback technologies. Lin’s most influential contribution is the design and development of an autonomous robotic wheelchair for medical mobility (2018), which has garnered 20 citations for its innovative integration of intelligent human-machine interfaces and autonomous vehicle technology to improve locomotion for wheelchair users.
