Chi-Huey Wong is a pioneering figure in chemical biology and glycobiology, renowned for his transformative contributions to the study of carbohydrates and their biological functions. His research centers on the development of innovative tools to probe glycan-mediated interactions, with a particular focus on glycan arrays and enzymatic synthesis. Among his most impactful works is the creation of a printed covalent glycan array, which enabled high-throughput profiling of glycan-binding proteins using 200 synthetic and natural sequences.
