Dr. Yajing Yu is a rising leader in soft robotics and smart materials, whose work centers on the design and fabrication of advanced liquid crystal elastomer (LCE) actuators. Her research uniquely bridges materials science and bioinspired engineering, focusing on creating high-performance, robust yarn actuators for applications in artificial muscles, microrobotics, and smart wearables.
