Dr. Katy Croff Bell is a pioneering deep-sea explorer and technologist whose work sits at the intersection of ocean science, artificial intelligence, and open data. Her primary research focuses on developing scalable tools to monitor and understand the rapidly changing ocean, with a particular emphasis on leveraging AI to process vast visual datasets from the deep sea.
