About

Jiyuan Feng is a rising innovator in the field of flexible electronics and smart sensing materials, with a focused expertise in piezoelectric and conductive Janus nanofiber membranes. Feng’s major contributions lie in the design of multifunctional, dual-type sensors that simultaneously respond to pressure and sliding motion, addressing critical challenges in wearable technology and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding. Notably, Feng’s 2022 work on a novel flexible piezoelectric-conductive Janus nanofibers integrated membrane, which has garnered 14 citations, introduced a breakthrough in electrode compatibility for micro-scale sensing systems. This was followed by the development of an AC/DC dual-type pressure and movement sensor based on a nanoresistance network, and a 2024 study on an electromagnetic shielding Janus membrane for direct current-type pressure and sliding sensing. These works demonstrate Feng’s ability to integrate EMI protection with high-sensitivity mechanical sensing, a vital advancement for next-generation soft electronics. With a growing citation record and a clear trajectory toward solving real-world challenges in energy harvesting and human-machine interfaces, Jiyuan Feng is establishing a reputation for creating versatile, high-performance materials that push the boundaries of flexible sensor technology.
