About
Jinyun Sun is a robotics researcher whose work bridges 3D perception and modular self-assembling systems. In their most cited work, "Triangular mesh construction based on point cloud matrix and edge feature extraction" (2016, 7 citations), Sun developed a method to construct 3D laser scanners using a one-dimensional pitching rotation pan-tilt combined with a 2D laser range finder.
