Elena Rubies is a leading robotics researcher specializing in omnidirectional mobile robots designed for personal assistance and autonomous navigation. Her work centers on three interconnected areas: the design and 3D-printing of compact omnidirectional wheels, the development of precise self-localization and odometry systems, and the creation of human-robot interaction features that enhance social presence.
