About

Dr. Dhiman Mallick is a leading researcher in advanced multifunctional nanomaterials, with a primary focus on magnetoelectric composites, energy-efficient sensing technologies, and flexible electronics. His most notable contribution is the development of magnetically polarizable, energy-efficient magnetoelectric core–shell nanocomposites, specifically cobalt ferrite (CoFe2O4) cores with barium titanate (BaTiO3) shells embedded in a PDMS matrix. This work, published in 2024 and already garnering 6 citations, introduces a novel, low-power magnetic poling method that enables the creation of low-cost, flexible, and highly sensitive magnetic field sensors. By eliminating the need for traditional high-energy electrical poling, Dr. Mallick’s innovation paves the way for practical, wearable sensing devices and smart materials. His research bridges fundamental materials science with real-world applications in environmental monitoring, biomedical diagnostics, and next-generation electronics. With a growing citation impact and a clear trajectory toward sustainable nanotechnology, Dr. Mallick is establishing himself as a key innovator in the field of magnetoelectric materials and energy-efficient device engineering.
