Discussion on Problems of Triphibious Robot Control

Abstract
In recent years, robots with single-function cannot meet people's need. The development of amphibious robot has become more and more mature and researches on triphibious robot have been carried out recently. Advantages and structures of triphibious robot have been given in previous research. The current mainstream control arithmetic of UAV, Segway and UUV are analyzed and summaries of their similarities, differences, advantages and disadvantages as well as existing technical problems are given in the paper. Then we discuss the feasibility of controlling triphibious robots and what kind of control method or compound control method can be used to realize the control of a triphibious robot in three states (water, land and air) and the switch between two states.
