Abstract
Soft Robots for Planetary Exploration Soft robots have great potential for future planetary exploration due to their high dexterity, adaptability and robustness. In article number 2100106, Chelsea Shan Xian Ng and Guo Zhan Lum discuss how the environmental conditions of other planets will hypothetically affect the soft robots’ actuation, fabrication, and locomotion. It is envisioned that soft robots may hold great promise to help create a paradigm shift for future planetary explorations.
