摘要
Soft robots are increasingly attracting attention for their ability to adapt to complex environments due to their inherent flexibility. In our previous studies, we proposed an octopus-like soft manipulator and developed a pipe-climbing robot based on this design. This study aims to improve the climbing robot to enhance its mobility. Achieving a balance between size and elasticity is crucial for counteracting gravity. We redesigned the robot to reduce its size and adjusted the material's softness, resulting in a new robot capable of climbing actual trees.
