About

Zi Gu is a pioneer at the intersection of DNA nanotechnology, soft robotics, and biomedical engineering. Her most celebrated contribution is the development of the world’s first super-soft and super-elastic DNA hydrogel-based robot, capable of magnetically driven navigational locomotion for targeted cell delivery in confined, narrow spaces—a breakthrough inspired by organisms like earthworms.
