Zendai Kashino is a pioneering researcher at the intersection of robotics, human augmentation, and virtual reality. His work spans three transformative domains: search and rescue robotics, swarm robotics, and the emerging field of "JIZAI Body" cybernetics. Kashino's most impactful contribution is his 2019 paper on deep reinforcement learning for rescue robots in unknown cluttered environments, which has garnered 375 citations and established a new paradigm for autonomous urban search and rescue.
