About
Zede Zhu is pioneering the next generation of bioinspired electronic skins and artificial neural systems, with a focus on multimodal sensing and neuromorphic nociception. Their groundbreaking work on the adhesive, stretchable, and chromotropic electronic skin (MCES) has achieved a remarkable 35 citations since 2023, demonstrating a single sensor capable of simultaneously perceiving strain, temperature, and pressure without signal interference—a critical advance for prosthetics and humanoid robotics.
