Dr. Yiqiang Zheng is a leading innovator in the field of flexible bioelectronics and advanced sensory systems, whose work is fundamentally reshaping wearable health monitoring and human-machine interaction. His research masterfully bridges materials science and device engineering, focusing on the development of high-performance electronic skins (e-skins) and novel transistor architectures. Dr. Zheng’s most impactful contribution is the creation of a highly-stable, polymer-crosslinked 2D MXene-based e-skin, which has garnered 179 citations for its breakthrough in enabling robust, biocompatible in vivo biomonitoring. He further advanced the field by engineering chemically modified silk fibroin hydrogels to produce environment-stable e-skins, addressing a critical challenge of mechanical robustness.
