Yanzhi Xia is a materials scientist whose research sits at the intersection of hydrogel engineering, soft actuators, and flexible electronics. With a body of work spanning smart materials design, mechanical enhancement strategies, and wearable sensing technologies, Xia has established a distinctive research identity centered on developing functional polymer systems with real-world applications in biomedical devices, soft robotics, and electronic skins.
