About

Xiulei Qi is a rising leader in the field of flexible electronics and advanced materials, with a primary focus on the processing and application of liquid metals (LMs). Her research addresses a critical bottleneck in soft electronics: how to make highly conductive, fluidic LM droplets stable, processable, and safe for real-world devices. Qi’s major contributions include pioneering a bimetallic ions chelation strategy to create robust, transportable, and endurable LM powders.
