About
Yachao Dong’s research bridges robotics and process systems engineering, with a focus on inspection and manipulation in hazardous environments, particularly nuclear power plants. His early work on a novel nuclear station inspection robot (2014, 7 citations) addressed the critical challenge of inspecting steam generators, where dense tube bundles make human entry impossible.
