Xuecheng Zhou is a robotics researcher whose work focuses on the design and locomotion of planetary rovers for extreme terrain exploration. His most notable contribution is the development of the Axel rover, a lightweight, two-wheeled vehicle engineered to access steep slopes and navigate large obstacles using an actively managed tether.
