About
Xingxing Zhou is a researcher at the forefront of smart materials and agricultural automation, whose work bridges the gap between bio-inspired engineering and practical robotics. Zhou’s key research areas include the development of advanced artificial muscles and the application of deep learning for precision agriculture. A major contribution is the creation of free-standing, single-helical woolen yarn artificial muscles, which exhibit robust and trainable humidity-sensing actuation.
