About

Vinicius Lube is a materials scientist working at the frontier of wearable electronics and soft robotics, with a focus on developing intelligent, programmable polymer-based systems. His research centers on creating multifunctional "smart skins" and stretchable electronic components that can sense, conduct, and even change their physical texture on demand. In his highly cited 2018 work, Lube introduced a groundbreaking approach to electrical welding that transforms conventional stretchable strain sensors into high-performance electrical conductors—a key step toward simplifying the fabrication of wearable devices.
